Get the fit right
A cap that fits is a cap you forget you are wearing. Here is how to measure, which size to choose, and how to keep every fabric looking right.
One tape, thirty seconds
Wrap a soft tape measure around your head about a centimetre above your ears and eyebrows — the widest point.
Keep the tape level and snug but not tight. Note the measurement in centimetres or inches.
No tape? Use a piece of string, mark where it meets, then measure the length against a ruler.
Find your size

Keep it looking right
Cotton & Twill
Spot clean with cool water and a soft brush. For a deeper clean, hand wash cold and air dry on a round form to hold the crown.
Canvas & Corduroy
Brush off dust with the grain. Hand wash cold only when needed; never wring. Reshape damp and let it dry away from direct heat.
Linen Blends
Hand wash cold and expect a little natural softening over time. Lay flat or shape on a bowl to dry; a cool iron on the brim if needed.
Performance Weave
Rinse after heavy sweat, hand wash cold, air dry. Avoid fabric softener, which coats the fibres and reduces wicking.
